Membership
Qualifications for Membership
Membership in the Council is limited to:
- Officers of trust companies and banks maintaining active trust departments.
- Financial Services providers which includes life insurance underwriters and registered
representatives of broker/dealers licensed by the State of Texas and the National Association of
Securities Dealers or the Securities and Exchange Commission.
- Licensed attorneys and persons working in paralegal positions under the direction of such licensed
attorneys.
- Accountants licensed by a State Board of Public Accountancy and staff accountants working under the
direction of such licensed accountants.
- Planned giving/business development professionals which includes persons in positions of responsibility with foundations or charitable organizations.
Dues and Application
One becomes a member when his or her application and dues have been received and approved by the Board. Dues are $275.00 per year (includes membership fees and all meals for seven program meetings) and a membership application may be downloaded here. For those professionals who desire CLE or CPE credit, an additional $115 is charged to offset the expense of reporting to the proper entities.
