Membership

PhotoQualifications for Membership

Membership in the Council is limited to:

  1. Officers of trust companies and banks maintaining active trust departments.

  2. Financial Services providers which includes life insurance underwriters and registered representatives of broker/dealers licensed by the State of Texas and the National Association of Securities Dealers or the Securities and Exchange Commission.

  3. Licensed attorneys and persons working in paralegal positions under the direction of such licensed attorneys.

  4. Accountants licensed by a State Board of Public Accountancy and staff accountants working under the direction of such licensed accountants.

  5. Planned giving/business development professionals which includes persons in positions of responsibility with foundations or charitable organizations.

Dues and Application

One becomes a member when his or her application and dues have been received and approved by the Board. Dues are $250.00 per year (includes membership fees and all meals for seven program meetings) and a membership application may be downloaded here. For those professionals who desire CLE or CPE credit, an additional $115 is charged to offset the expense of reporting to the proper entities.
